HENNESSY XO was born in 1870; it is the fruit of the meeting of two men... Maurice Hennessy, the 4th generation of Hennessy's at the head of the House, and
Emile Fillioux, the 3rd generation of Master Blenders.
Both are driven by a quest for innovation and a demanding philosophy of the subtle art of blending eaux-de-vie.
When it was created, the HENNESSY XO was not destined to become an emblematic cognac in the history of the House.
It was initially a personal creation reserved for a circle of intimates.
