VSOP Organic Cognac Planat
Description
Delicately chiselled, it is generous on the palate, imbued with a minerality inherited from the limestone soil of the cognac region.
To the eye: its color is amber, tinged with copper highlights.
On the nose: the attack is generous, dominated by a set of exotic fruits and a delicate minerality. Roasted pineapple, candied citrus peel, fig, exotic fruit make up the top notes, supported by a delicate woody structure (bourbon vanilla, oak) and spicy (cinnamon).
On the palate: round and very greedy, opening with notes of candied fruit, pudding, candied mango, bergamot, then on a delicately woody and vinous background. The finish is long and homogeneous, discreetly smoky.
To be enjoyed with a dash of spring water, slightly refreshed or with a large cube of ice.
In cocktails, perfect for making a highball, it also goes very well with a ginger beer or a tonic.
